The Week: City News - NI endures double drop

News International saw its ad revenues fall by 15 per cent year on year in the third quarter of 2009.

The company, which owns The Sun and The Times, also witnessed a 6 per cent decrease in circulation revenues. Despite the problems, News International's parent company, News Corporation, posted a 9 per cent growth in profits for the period.
