The Week: City News - Trinity predicts double dip

Trinity Mirror has forecast that ad revenues across its national newspaper division will be down by 5 per cent this month, with total circulation revenues also down by 1 per cent.

The publisher said the figures were based on early indications and that the performance of its troubled regional operation would be much improved. It expects to post a fall in ad revenue of 22 per cent year on year, an improvement on the 35 per cent drop it suffered in the first half of the year.
