The Week: City News - UBS predicts Aegis takeover

Aegis could once again be a takeover target, according to the investment bank UBS, which predicted that Vincent Bollore, the company's biggest shareholder, is planning to sell his 29 per cent stake "sooner rather than later". UBS emphasised Aegis' strategic importance to the other major advertising groups and predicted that shares in the company could be worth around 235p each if a sale goes ahead. Aegis shares were trading at just over 140p at the time of the report.
