The Week: City News - Unilever adspend increases

Unilever has announced that it has increased advertising spend by 13 per cent for the three months to 30 September and has promised to continue to grow spending into the fourth quarter.

The FMCG giant reported a sales volume growth of 3.6 per cent compared with the same time last year but a fall in pre-tax profit of 43 per cent to 1.27 billion.
