The Week: City News - WPP's share prices fall

Shares in WPP fell last week despite the company reporting a rise in first-quarter revenues of 14.1 per cent year on year to £1.56 billion.

The company said in a trading statement that March was slower in Western Continental Europe than the previous two months, but added that North American revenue growth was "strong" at almost 10 per cent. Revenues for the UK and Continental Europe were up 5 per cent.
