The Week: DM reviews - Avis appoints two for DM

Avis, the car rental company, has appointed Acknowledgement and Web Liquid to its pan-European direct marketing account after a pitch against Rapp and McCann Erickson.

The agencies will be responsible for developing Avis' 2009 pan-European campaigns across 13 markets, including the UK. Acknowledgement will create and implement the creative strategy, while Web Liquid will lead the media strategy, planning and buying.
