Mansfield Bitter, one of the UK’s leading independent breweries, is to
break a new campaign through Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO on August 5.
Running in the brewery’s heartland of Yorkshire, the 40-second ad
features Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson. He is shown making a number
of witty observations at an over-the-top fashion show, contrasting its
absurdities with the straightforwardness of Mansfield Bitter. Clarkson
was chosen for his appeal to the young male target audience.
