The Week: Media News - Absolute 80s to launch

Absolute Radio is launching Absolute 80s, a radio station dedicated to music from that decade, next month.

Absolute 80s, which replaces Absolute Xtreme, will target 30- to 54-year-olds and play artists such as Adam and the Ants, The Human League and Frankie Goes To Hollywood in a jukebox format. It will initially be available on DAB in London and nationally online with plans to expand transmission to other parts of the country later this year.
