The Week: Media News - Absolute audience grows

The latest Rajar figures made good reading for Absolute Radio, which increased its listeners in the first quarter of this year by 13.7 per cent.

The station had an average of 1.7 million listeners in the first three months of the year, compared with 1.5 million in the last quarter of 2008. Another radio station performing well was Capital Radio, which increased its number of listeners by 15 per cent.
