The Week: Media news - Adspend falls by £115m

Advertising spend across the five major product categories of motor, finance, food, entertainment/media and drink fell by £115 million in the first half of 2008 on a year-on-year basis, according to figures from Nielsen Media Research. Radio, outdoor, press, internet and TV were all down over the period, with only cinema up, by £13.82 million.
