The Week: Media News - Associated creates panel

Associated Newspapers has created a new research panel of 8,000 people to offer what it claims is a "unique" insight into the mindset of the typical "middle Britain" Daily Mail reader. The panel will answer questionnaires on brands and advertising, and will be encouraged to blog and post on forums. AN Marketing Services, which will be running the panel, has also appointed Clare Abley as the head of its strategic insight division. Abley, who joins from SAB Miller, will report to Linda Grant, the AN Marketing Services director.
