The Week: Media News - BBC to rebrand CBBC

The BBC has revamped the logo and idents for its CBBC channel using characters from some of its most popular shows, including Shaun the Sheep. The channel's first rebrand since 2002 launches on 3 September and is intended to develop the relationship with its core audience of six- to 12-year-olds. The idents were created by Red Bee Media, and an on- and offline campaign to support them, which was created by Fallon, will launch shortly.
