The Week: Media News - Cinema admissions up

Cinema admissions increased by 23 per cent to hit 49 million in the third quarter of 2007, according to the Cinema Advertising Association.

Motor advertisers were the biggest spenders over the period, putting £10.3 million into cinema, followed by telecoms, with £6.9 million. Orange was the single biggest cinema advertiser, investing £3.6 million over the period.
