The Week: Media News - Council will aid advertisers

Time Warner has created a UK Advertising Council to help advertisers run campaigns across its UK media network, including AOL UK, IPC Media, Time, Fortune, Turner Broadcasting and Warner Bros.

Michael Steckler, the managing director of AOL UK, Caroline McDevitt, the managing director of IPC Advertising, and Simon Cox, the vice-president of Turner Media Innovations, will head the council.
