The Week: Media News - Daily Sport has to deliver

The Daily Sport has been given six to nine months to make a profit by the millionaire David Sullivan, its "honorary publisher".

Sullivan, the original founder of the paper, gave its parent company, Sport Media Group, a £1.68 million bridging loan last week and took share options worth 10 per cent of the company. He has now pledged that the title will return to "basic, wholesome, page three content".
