The Week: Media News - Grade hints at VoD tie-up

Michael Grade, the executive chairman of ITV, has suggested that the broadcaster may be close to agreeing a content-sharing deal with YouTube and Hulu.

During a speech at a House of Lords Communications Committee hearing, Grade said that the Competition Commission made a huge mistake in blocking Project Kangaroo, a video-on-demand venture between BBC Worldwide, ITV and Channel 4, and that he was sure a US company would therefore soon take on the majority of ITV content in the UK.
