The Week: Media News - Quality papers' sales fall

Sales of quality daily newspapers fell again in October, with The Daily Telegraph down 3.55 per cent year on year to 767,894 after deciding to take bulk copies out of its circulation figures.

The Times' circulation declined by 9.18 per cent to 571,783, while The Guardian was down 11.97 per cent to 311,878. Sales of The Sun and Daily Mirror both fell, but the Daily Star rose 20 per cent year on year to 836,556 on the back of a reduced coverprice.
