The Week: Media News - Radio revenues on the up

Total commercial radio revenue for the third quarter of 2007 rose by 5.4 per cent year on year to £149 million, according to the latest figures from RadioCentre.

National revenues increased by 7.7 per cent year on year to £81.6 million over the period, revenues for sales and promotions grew by 8 per cent to £28 million, but local revenue dropped by 0.7 per cent to £39.4 million.
