The Week: Media News - Rajar admits data blunder

Rajar has been forced to reissue its latest listening figures after admitting that data for 280 stations was published incorrectly.

According to Rajar, most stations will only be marginally affected, although a minority would see more significant differences in their results. The radio audience measurement body blamed the problem, which affects stations that report their figures on a half-yearly basis, on statistical weighting caused by adding new stations in the last three months of 2007.
