The Week: Media News - Revenue boost for radio

On the back of some encouraging Rajar results, commercial radio revenues rose to almost £150 million in the second quarter of the year, according to the RadioCentre. Overall revenues were up by 0.8 per cent to £149.4 million over the period, with national revenues up by 3.4 per cent year on year to £85 million, and local revenues increased by 1.2 per cent to £40.4 million.
