BSkyB has passed the nine million subscriber mark after record sign-ups for Sky+ HD for the quarter ending September 2008. Subscribers to the service grew by 93,000 to 591,000 while Sky+ subscribers increased by 421,000 to 4.3 million, almost half of its total subscriber base of 9.06 million.
