The Week: Media News - Slovenia leads online hike

European online adspend has grown by less than 20 per cent year on year in six of the top ten online ad markets, according to figures from the Interactive Advertising Bureau Europe and PricewaterhouseCoopers. However, the pair's survey found that there was a fast growth rate in smaller markets such as Slovenia and Poland - up 77 per cent and 60 per cent respectively. The survey, which looked at the year to 31 December 2008, analysed online adspend within 19 European markets.
