The Week: Media news - The Sun plans radio station

The Sun has revealed plans for a new online radio station, which will operate from new £1 million studios at the newspaper's Wapping headquarters.

The station hopes to reach 150,000 listeners within its first year, and will be available for journalists from all four of News International's national titles, The Sun, News of the World, The Times and The Sunday Times. The first show, the date of which has yet to be specified, will be presented by The Sun columnist Jon Gaunt, and will feature the Conservative leader, David Cameron, as a special guest.
