The Week: Media reviews - MEC lands £12m DoH brief

Mediaedge:cia has won the £12 million media planning and buying account for a Department of Health campaign to raise awareness of the risk of strokes.

MEC beat Manning Gottlieb OMD to the business in a pitch managed by COI. The department called an advertising pitch at the same time, which is now back on after being delayed. Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners and Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy have been shortlisted for the account.
