The Week: Media reviews - MediaCom sees off Carat

MediaCom has won TUI Travel's £12 million media planning and buying account after a shoot-out against Carat.

The incumbents, Walker Media and MPG, were eliminated last month. TUI called the review in December last year in order to consolidate its offline planning and buying for its Thomson, First Choice and Portland brands following the merger with First Choice. MPG handled the £7 million Thomson account and Walker was the incumbent on the £5 million First Choice account.
