The Week: Media Reviews - Weight Watchers in review

Weight Watchers is reviewing its £10 million UK media planning and buying account, which has been with Carat for ten years.

Carat will defend the account, and will compete against agencies including Mediaedge:cia, the incumbent on the Weight Watchers European business. Johan Denekamp, Weight Watchers' external media consultant and the chief executive of the consultancy 4C Associates, and Lindsay Reisser-Weston, Weight Watchers' UK marketing director, are handling the review.
