The Week: Online News - Outcry at HSBC U-turn

More than 3,000 students have joined a Facebook group to fight HSBC, which is charging graduates with overdraft fees despite promising a three-year grace period. The students were originally offered an interest-free overdraft of up to £1,500 for three years after leaving university, but the offer was withdrawn two weeks after they graduated, when they were told they would have to pay 9.9 per cent interest on their overdrafts.
