The Week: Online news - Video site Hulu launches

News Corporation and NBC have launched Hulu, their ad-funded online video joint venture, which was scheduled to open last summer.

The venture aims to capture some of the traffic from online video-sharing websites such as YouTube. Hulu, which will feature more than 250 full-length episodes of TV series and 100 feature films, recently signed content deals with Warner Brothers TV and Lionsgate.
