The Week: Online News - YouTube in Apple TV tie-up

Clips posted on YouTube are to appear on TV for the first time as part of Apple's new set-top box TV package.

From next month, a selection of films from the Google-owned video-sharing site will be available to Apple TV users. The scheme is the latest in a series of tie-ups between the two companies: Google Maps is to be made available on iPhones, and Eric Schmidt, the Google chairman and chief executive, has a seat on the Apple board.
