Guardian Media Group has appointed the chief executive of Virgin Media, Neil Berkett, as a non-executive director. Berkett, with more than 25 years of executive experience at companies including Lloyds TSB, Prudential and Citibank, has been the chief executive at Virgin Media since March 2008.
