The Week: People news - Clarke lands Best Buy role

The Carphone Warehouse has appointed Tristia Clarke, the group marketing director, as the chief marketing officer of Best Buy Europe, a joint venture between The Carphone Warehouse and the US consumer electronics giant Best Buy.

Anna James, the former strategy and e-commerce director at Mothercare, has been made the UK marketing director at The Carphone Warehouse, while Michelle Henderson, the interim UK marketing director, has been made the customer marketing director of Geek Squad, the company's technical support business, and of Best Buy Europe.
