The Week: People news - Coors replaces Davies

The beer brand owner Molson Coors has appointed David Preston to the role of interim marketing director.

Reporting to the chief executive, Mark Hunter, he will be responsible for a £70 million group marketing budget, including an ongoing review of the group's £15 million media duties. Preston replaces Simon Davies, who left the company last week after 13 years to set up a creative services agency.
