The Week: People news - Hunt for Cescau successor

Unilever has started the hunt for a new global chief executive to replace Patrick Cescau, who is set to retire next year.

According to reports, Cescau is likely to step down at Unilever's AGM next May, after spending 35 years at the company. Unilever is expected to replace him with an internal candidate, with the Asia president Harish Manwari, the Americas division president Mike Polk and the chief financial officer Jim Lawrence all in the frame.
