The Week: People news - Kellie lands new BBC post

BBC Worldwide has appointed Helen Kellie as its first director of marketing.

Kellie was previously the director of marketing, communications and audiences at BBC Vision, the corporation's TV and radio arm. She will start her new job on 1 October and report directly to the BBC Worldwide chief executive, John Smith. The corporation has also named Sparrowhawk Media's Neil Ross Russell as its new managing director in charge of children's brands.
