The Week: People news - Lonsdale's Roy Capper dies

Roy Capper, the man behind the Paramount Pictures campaigns of the 60s and 70s through the agency Lonsdale, died of leukaemia on 22 May.

Capper, who was born in 1939, went on to launch the agency Capper Grainger, which was responsible for the first music CD promotions for the national press. Its campaigns generated sales and reader names and addresses for The Sunday Times.
