The Week: People news - M&S rejigs senior team

Jude Bridge, the marketing communications director at Marks & Spencer, is to leave the company as part of a management shake-up.

Nayna McIntosh has been named director of store marketing and design, and will take over Bridge's responsibilities, with a position on the executive board. Stuart Rose, the M&S chief executive, who has committed to stay with the company until he retires in July 2011, will also become executive chairman as part of the changes, taking over from Lord Burns, who will stand down on 1 June. Steve Sharp will continue as the executive director of marketing, with responsibility for marketing, M&S Money and store design.
