The Week: People News - Orange chief steps down

Bernard Ghillebaert, the chief executive of Orange UK, is to step down. He will be replaced by Tom Alexander, the car-racing fan who co-founded and floated Virgin Mobile. Ghillebaert will move to a group role in France Telecom. The move comes after falling profitability and a UK business review, instigated by Olaf Swantee, France Telecom's head of mobile operations EMEA.
