The Week: People News - Rhodes quits as chief of NI

Camilla Rhodes, the chief executive of News Magazines, has left the company after 28 years with the division's owner, News International.

News Magazines is being closed after recording a £10 million loss in the 12 months to June 2007. Since joining in 1980, Rhodes has held a number of high-profile roles with the group, including managing director of The Sun and News of the World, and managing director of The Times and The Sunday Times.
