The Week: People News - Vanneck takes charge at NI

Katie Vanneck, Times Media's head of sales and marketing, has taken on the role of interim managing director, digital and new business, across News International.

Vanneck replaces Mike Anderson, who has taken an immediate leave of absence for personal reasons. Although Vanneck will have a strategic role overseeing Times Media's marketing function, Susie Bourne, the current head of marketing operations, will take on Vanneck's day-to-day duties. Anderson, who was previously the managing director of News Group Newspapers, was appointed to the News International role in July.
