The pitch was overseen by Alex Lewis, the director of marketing and communications at Sky Networks, and is part of an initiative to use the channels to drive subscriptions.
The company now plans to up its spend on promoting a wider range of programming, rather than focusing on promoting flagship programmes such as Lost and 24.
