National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham

The world’s largest dog show is heading back to the Midlands this weekend, with four days of competitions and training with pooches, along with more than 400 exhibitors in attendance.

This year there are 11 Crufts sponsors, including pet food supplier Eukanuba which in partnership with the Kennel Club will be activating its Eukanuba Friends for Life. This activity is an approach to find the unsung dog heroes from across the UK. Purina Pro Plan is sponsoring the Career Zone at Crufts for canine professionals, while Ceva Adaptil will be hosting a series of talks and advice from their stand on canine behaviour. A must to check out is Samsung’s Dream Doghouse.

Pixie Lott at Pizza Express

6-7 March
Pizza Express, The Strand, London

The pop princess and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant will be headlining the restaurant this weekend in front of a 300-strong crowd twice a day. Tickets are available for those who just want to come and see her, or for those looking to tuck into a pizza and whilst being serenaded by Lott.

Fans of the magazine will be able to go on an interactive journey through the pages of the publication and iconic moments from the last decade. Expect to go down fashion memory lane with a wall of It bags, and choose your favourite outfit and London designer of the decade with Topshop.

You can also grab a ticket to one of several Ten Talks at the gallery. Tomorrow (6 March) a panel of experts will be exploring whether technology is our friend or foe. Brie Rogers Lowery from Change.org, campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez, Buzzfeed's Rossalyn Warren and psychologist Linda Papadopoulos will all take part in the session.

Price: Free entry; talks are ticketed and priced at £11 per person.
