Western Media has launched a website that offers users a range of

information, from a breakdown of how a client’s budget is spent to baby

photographs of senior staff.

The site - found at www.westernmedia.co.uk - is designed to give clients

an introduction to the agency, formerly called Western International

Media.

It provides a list of clients, offers research and contains a list of

where Western places an average pounds 170 million of client budgets

each year.

The agency spends 45 per cent of its budgets on TV.

Users can also see pictures of senior agency staff taken when they were

children and discover what their ambitions were as youngsters. According

to the website, Danny Donovan, board director, wanted to be Evel Knievel

and Pru Parkinson, deputy managing director, had a hankering to be a

boy.

Lawrence Janes, marketing and business development director, said the

site was designed to be light-hearted. ’The idea behind it is to show

that our brand is our people’, he commented.
