Wheldon quits BBDO

- David Wheldon has resigned as president of BBDO Europe after two years in the post. The former Coca-Cola advertising director was understood to be unhappy with the degree of influence he had over BBDO's largely minority-owned agency network in Europe.

He will be replaced by Jean-Michel Goudard, the president, international, BBDO Worldwide. Wheldon was on holiday and unavailable for comment.
