The World: Amsterdam - Asics hands Euro brief to Amsterdam Worldwide

The sports footwear brand Asics has consolidated its pan-European creative account into Amsterdam Worldwide.

Amsterdam Worldwide was already Asics' agency of record for its Japanese sports fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger, after being appointed to the business in 2002.

The agency will now also be responsible for all of Asics' performance wear, as well as the brand's SportStyle leisure-wear range.

Brian Elliott, the founder and chief executive of Amsterdam Worldwide, said: "The sports business is intensely competitive and pressure on the top brands has never been greater. Consumers want clarity and clients want measurable results that cut through and deliver."
