The World: Amsterdam - General Motors selects 180 for Opel projects

General Motors Europe has appointed 180 Amsterdam to work on two pan-European assignments for Opel, worth a total of x60 million.

The agency picked up the business following a pitch against Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners and McCann Erickson Frankfurt.

The first project, which will be rolled out across 30 European countries and will have a media spend of x40 million, will be a major brand promotion.

The second assignment, which was awarded to the agency without a pitch and is worth x20 million will also run in 30 European countries but will cover specific Opel brands using TV, print, direct marketing and online.
