The World: Amsterdam - StrawberryFrog names creative director

StrawberryFrog Amsterdam has hired the British-born Richard Gorodecky as its new executive creative director.

As well as managing the agency's creative department, he will oversee campaigns for brands including Panasonic and Opel. He replaces Mark Chalmers, who left in the spring.

A former creative chief of Wieden & Kennedy in Amsterdam, Gorodecky's agency career includes spells at TBWA, M&C Saatchi and Young & Rubicam.

Brian Elliott, the StrawberryFrog chief executive, said: "Richard's unconventional background and first-hand experience of the digital revolution will be a huge benefit."
