The World: Atlanta - Five in the frame for Delta's US creative business

Delta Air Lines has called a review of its US creative account, and has shortlisted five agencies for the first round of pitches.

BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather, Deutsch and Wieden & Kennedy are meeting with the airline at its Atlanta headquarters.

Early last year, Delta appointed Saatchi & Saatchi's sister shop Digitas as its lead global creative agency.

Delta spent $20 million in major measured media during 2008, a 44 per cent decrease from the $36 million it spent in 2007. In October, the company acquired Northwest Airlines in a deal worth $2.8 billion.
