The World: Bangkok - Lowe and Initiative scoop Thai Airways business

Lowe Worldwide Bangkok has won the £17 million international Thai Airways creative account, while Initiative has been handed the airline's media planning and buying business.

Lowe won the creative assignment following a four-way pitch that included the incumbent, JWT, as well as Dentsu and Creative Juice/G1. The latter agency will continue to handle domestic duties for the airline.

Lowe and Initiative were supported on the pitch by a number of Interpublic agencies, including Draft, Octagon, Jack Morton and Weber Shandwick.
