The World: Bangkok - McCann picks up $10 million L' Oreal task

Universal McCann has won the $10 million L'Oreal Thai media account, following a pitch led by Universal's Magna offering, which includes Initiative and FCB, against the incumbent, ZenithOptimedia.

The award forms part of L'Oreal's ongoing global media buying and planning review, and comes despite speculation that L'Oreal's Paris headquarters favoured ZenithOptimedia in local markets after its appointment to the European business. Last month, Optimedia was handed the Singaporean L'Oreal business.
