The World: Barcelona - Media Planning Network wins Danone task

Media Planning Network, the global arm of the Media Planning Group, has won the Danone strategic media planning and buying business in Spain after a four-way pitch against Carat, OMD and Mediaedge:cia.

The win strengthens MPG's hold on Danone in Europe. In October 2005, the media network won the Danone business in France.

Marta Coll, the director of Media Planning Barcelona, said: "We feel a great sense of pride that Danone has once again renewed its relationship with Media Planning. It will enable us to maintain our position as market leaders in Spain."
